Well ladies and gents, let's tall about how great my weekend was.
Friday Emily's mom, sister, and grandma all got into town. They are all very nice and while all of these women are together they are a very lively bunch to say the least. This was also the last day to study for my accounting test, so in addition to the three hours in which I found time to study earlier in the week I studied for about another five that evening. I took breaks from studying when Emily would come to see me before and after her performance in opera scenes that evening. I believe I studied until about 11 p.m..
The next morning I didn't make it to the gym, but I did make it to Cleo's apartment for puffy French toast, which she did a very good job on. Thanks Cleo. After that I trudged my way to the library to begin my 4 hour accounting test, but I met Emily on the way and she gave me some words of encouragement. We also talked about practice rooms.
Four hours later I came out of the library with and 88% on a test that is worth 20% of my grade. I wanted atleast a 92, but I'll take it anyway.
Then at 7:30 I joined Emily's family and Charles and Laura for opera scenes. Emily sang BEAUTIFULY!! Oh jeez. I'm just sad I only got to hear her do it once. She wasn't even feeling at the top of her game. That didn't matter though; she sounded wonderful.
After that Emily's mom, Anne took us all out to Applebee's. Thanks! I got an Oreo shake. Baby oh baby.
So all in all it was a pretty good day. Yep.
Looking Forward
